Welcome to my site! I am so happy you dropped by. As you look through my designs you'll see that I really do love making designs for children. They make me giggle.

As a young girl, I always had a needle in my hand. My Barbie doll was always very well dressed, weather it was hand sewn clothing or crocheted items. As a teenager, I made my school clothing. Sewing runs deep in my bloodline, I can remember my grandmother & aunts were all seamstresses.To be a stay at home mother of four, I started my own line of appliqued children's clothing at a local children's shop. The shop owner asked me to also do a line of clothing like Ance' Kay, an Heirloom type of clothing.

The love of Heirloom sewing & smocking quickly took over & my appliques were put on the back burner. I have made hundreds of Heirloom garments for customers & shops. This was before Heirloom sewing made a come back. It was very difficult to find the supplies, as there were no companies selling the supplies like we have today. Luckily the Heirloom clothing made a strong come back & suppliers became easier to get..

I did this for 25 years. Then I started taking care of the grandchildren so they did not have to go to a day care. Even though this ended my Heirloom career, I found myself learning to digitize in the evenings.

I found my new love in doing this! I was so thrilled that we had an embroidery machine that could applique! So I found myself back where I started - designing appliques.

Thus I started the web site in 2008.
